Modern Families Volunteer Email Week 1 | Grow Youth & Kids Ministry Curriculum
April is going to be a big month for families in our ministry! Not only are we starting a new series on family, but we also have some events for teenagers and their parents (or parent figures) coming up, too!
Here’s a few things coming up in our ministry . . .

ADD THE DATES: Parent Events
This month, we’re hosting two events for teenagers and the parents (or parent figures) who love them. If you’re not already attending the event with your kid, we’d love your  help. Let us know if you can serve!

ADD THE DATE: Volunteer Meeting
Thank you all for coming to last month’s volunteer meeting! We have our final meeting of the year coming up this month, so make sure it’s on your calendar! We hope to see you there as we learn about ADD THE TOPIC together.

ADD THE DATES: Summer Event
This month, we’re kicking off the summer with a ton of summery fun at our Pineapple Mayhem event! Get the details on our website!

MODERN FAMILIES: A 4-WEEK SERIES ON FAMILY
WEEK 1 BIG IDEA: There are no perfect families.

SERIES OVERVIEW:
It should only take a quick look around to realize there are no perfect families (not even in the Bible), but that doesn’t stop us from comparing our families’ quirks, flaws, and shortcomings to the seemingly perfect lives of other families. In this 4-week series, you’ll challenge students to give their families grace, seek resolution to their conflicts, trust God through difficult transitions, and treat more friends like family.

Ah, springtime. The sun is shining, the flowers are blooming, and all the Easter candy is on sale. It’s the perfect time to get NAME and NAMEa birthday present.
We know you’re learning a lot about parenting a teenager, so we’d love to learn alongside you. What’s one thing you’ve learned this year that ever parent of a teenager should know?
