JESUS LOVES: A 4-WEEK SERIES ON JESUS
WEEK 4 BIG IDEA: JESUS LOVED SINNERS

SERIES OVERVIEW:
“Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so.” If you grew up going to church, it’s probably the first song about Jesus you can remember singing. “Jesus loves me” may seem like a pretty straightforward and foundational belief, but let’s be honest . . . singing about Jesus’ love is a lot easier than actually imitating it. In this 4-week series, you’ll challenge students to observe, imitate, and be transformed by the radical love of Jesus for all people, but specifically His love for children, for the poor, for the stranger, and for the sinner.

How do you lead a teenager who is all-in with Jesus as well as a teenager who doesn’t yet know Jesus? The secret lies in our role as mentors. Here are some practical thoughts by Amy Williams, a youth worker from Chicago, about how to influence teenagers at any stage of their faith journeys.

At least once this month, choose a volunteer to celebrate. Add their picture and a few sentences about what makes them awesome!

We want to hear from you! What’s the best part about volunteering with teenagers? Reply to this email and let us know. [Think of ways you can use these responses in your next recruitment campaign.]
