Junction Volunteer Email Week 4 | Grow Youth & Kids Ministry Curriculum
Can you believe we’re already a month into the new year? Raise your hand if you’ve already blown all of your resolutions! (Same.)
Here’s a few things coming up in our ministry . . .

ADD THE DATE: Spring Weekend
Next month, we’re hosting a weekend event designed to help students connect with God and with their small group. Get the details on our website!

ADD THE DATE: Volunteer Meeting
As we dive into the second semester of this school year, it’s time for another volunteer meeting! We hope to see you there as we learn about ADD THE TOPIC together.

ADD THE DATES: Mission Experience
This summer, we’re taking teenagers on a mission experience! Make sure the dates are on your calendar and you’ve let us know if you’d like to attend.

JUNCTION: A 4-WEEK SERIES ON HURT
WEEK 4 BIG IDEA: God can use pain to unite us.

SERIES OVERVIEW:
Life can often be a difficult journey. Sometimes it’s difficult because of the choices we’ve made, but other times it’s difficult because of circumstances beyond our control. In this 4-week series, you’ll challenge students to look at their pain in a new way. By studying the book of Exodus and the stories of Moses and the Israelites, you’ll help them see that God can turn their pain into progress by growing them, preparing them, purifying them, and uniting them.

DOWNLOAD THIS WEEK’S CONVERSATION GUIDE

Anytime we talk about hurt in youth ministry, we open doors for teenagers to share some pretty sensitive information with us personally or in small groups. Whenever stories of hurt are shared,  it’s essential you know when to maintain confidentiality and when to break it. If a teenager is in danger or is putting someone else in danger, remember: you are a mandated reporter, which means you must inform our staff immediately. If you have any questions, please ask!
Choose a volunteer to celebrate this week. Add their picture and a few sentences about what makes them awesome!
