Modern Families Volunteer Email Week 4 | Grow Youth & Kids Ministry Curriculum
This week we’re wrapping up our month of focusing on families! As we do, think about at least one way you can continue partnering with parents for the rest of the school year, okay?
Here’s a few things coming up in our ministry . . .

ADD THE DATES: Parent Events
This month, we’re hosting two events for teenagers and the parents (or parent figures) who love them. If you’re not already attending the event with your kid, we’d love your  help. Let us know if you can serve!

ADD THE DATE: Volunteer Meeting
Thank you all for coming to last month’s volunteer meeting! We have our final meeting of the year coming up this month, so make sure it’s on your calendar! We hope to see you there as we learn about ADD THE TOPIC together.

ADD THE DATES: Summer Event
This month, we’re kicking off the summer with a ton of summery fun at our Pineapple Mayhem event! Get the details on our website!

MODERN FAMILIES: A 4-WEEK SERIES ON FAMILY
WEEK 4 BIG IDEA: Your family is bigger than you think.

SERIES OVERVIEW:
It should only take a quick look around to realize there are no perfect families (not even in the Bible), but that doesn’t stop us from comparing our families’ quirks, flaws, and shortcomings to the seemingly perfect lives of other families. In this 4-week series, you’ll challenge students to give their families grace, seek resolution to their conflicts, trust God through difficult transitions, and treat more friends like family.

Think about someone who shaped your future because of their influence during your teenage years. Someone who made you who you are today. Seriously, do it. Right now. Got a name? Great. Now consider this. A few years from now, a kid is going to be thinking the exact same thing about you.
Choose a volunteer to celebrate this week. Add their picture and a few sentences about what makes them awesome!
What’s the best thing you’ve done to serve, partner with, or engage, parents of teenagers? Hit Reply on this email and let us know! We’d love to learn from your awesomeness.
