THE GREAT ESCAPE: A 4-WEEK SERIES ON MOSES AND THE EXODUS
WEEK 2 BIG IDEA: God can help you do great things.

SERIES OVERVIEW:

If you’ve ever heard of an escape room, you know the goal is pretty clear: to escape! In the book of Exodus, God’s people had the same goal when they became enslaved by the nation of Egypt. In an escape room, a group of friends must work together to follow instructions, solve puzzles, and discover clues that will help them find freedom. In the story of the Exodus, God’s people find freedom by witnessing God’s miracles and following God’s leadership through Moses. You may never be trapped in a room or taken captive by an enemy country, but there might be a time when you need some help from God. So in this 4-week series, kids will see that when they’re in trouble, God can send people to help them, God can help them do great things, God can do anything, and God is with them.

We can learn a lot from Disney about helping people have great experiences at our church. Disney wants every guest to have a first class experience. This video from Brittany Nelson gives three tips about children’s ministry guest experiences we can learn from Disney.

At least once this month, choose a volunteer to celebrate. Add their picture and a few sentences about what makes them awesome!
