THE GREAT ESCAPE: A 4-WEEK SERIES ON MOSES AND THE EXODUS
WEEK 3 BIG IDEA: God can do anything.

SERIES OVERVIEW:

If you’ve ever heard of an escape room, you know the goal is pretty clear: to escape! In the book of Exodus, God’s people had the same goal when they became enslaved by the nation of Egypt. In an escape room, a group of friends must work together to follow instructions, solve puzzles, and discover clues that will help them find freedom. In the story of the Exodus, God’s people find freedom by witnessing God’s miracles and following God’s leadership through Moses. You may never be trapped in a room or taken captive by an enemy country, but there might be a time when you need some help from God. So in this 4-week series, kids will see that when they’re in trouble, God can send people to help them, God can help them do great things, God can do anything, and God is with them.

Instead of rushing through prayer time with the kids, make it a meaningful and impactful time for them to connect with God. Here are some tips from Dale Hudson about how to help kids have an impactful prayer time at church.

At least once this month, choose a volunteer to celebrate. Add their picture and a few sentences about what makes them awesome!
